  Who we are?

The Terp is a mixed organic farm (agriculture and cattle breeding). Our farm lies on the old basin of the river Linge. The soil on which we have farmed since 1984 is therefore made out of river clay.

Started as a small organic horticulture venture on one hectare of land, the farm has now developed into a fully mixed farming company of 90 hectares. We are a real organic pioneering company with an almost closed eco system. We grow our own cattle food, we use the manure, and we have a beautiful balance between arable land, grass paddocks, forest and cattle.

  What is our business?

We have been specialising in:
- Production of organic pumpkins for supermarkets and export.
- Production of the exclusive "Betuwe" regional product "Soelens Weidevlees" (beef).

Beside agriculture there are other activities. Pumpkin storage and processing for "Albert Heijn and import and export" are the most important ones.
We work together with several growers in Holland Germany Italy New Zealand and Argentina.

Furthermore there is day care for intellectually disabled people. We also have group space for training purposes.

Also we have a shop for house sale of beef, our "Soelens Weidevlees" and pig meat. As a result of landscape and nature development in 2004, we planted 5 hectare of new permanent forest around the farm.

How to get there by car?

Take the A15 highway Rotterdam-Nijmegen. Then take the road to Tiel-West / Avezaath/ Buren on junction 32. Follow the N834 direction Buren. After the roundabout take the first road to the left (ANWB sign Erichem). Now bend to the left at the first opportunity (before you drive into the town of Erichem). At your left-hand you find the "De Terp".
